In line with our commitment to fostering community well-being and supporting various types of community activities, we have chosen to back this project as part of our CSR programme.

In addition to serving the growing number of worshippers and accommodating Solat Jumaat, the surau will also provide a welcoming space for community gatherings.

This ongoing project, which began in 2019, faced significant delays due to various challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, post-pandemic labor shortages, and the withdrawal of pledged contributions from donors.

As a result, the construction timeline was severely impacted, leading to increased costs. During this period, the PROTEM committee, representing the local community, approached AVA Kasih for support and assistance.

AvaCare Trust is committed to supporting this project. A PROTEM committee representative has agreed to oversee the progress and contribute to construction costs based on contractor progress claims. To date, we have supported RM 1,000,000.00. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2025
